In mid-October, I will begin rehearsals for COME FROM AWAY at The Seattle Rep! (I must be dreaming – pinch me please). CFA tells the story of the complete generosity and love of a small town in Newfoundland that took in over 7,000 people who were on airplanes on 9-11. Every plane in the air CFA hosts a gorgeous score and the powerful tale of the people of Gander and the ‘come from aways’ that they hosted for 5 days. With a stellar cast of fellow actor/instrumentalists under the direction of a visionary, I am sure this unique staging will be a critical and audience success. Running from November 28 through a likely extension to January 4th. COME FROM AWAY and join us!

 

Lucky V! For the last eight months, I have had the utter delight to work with Seattle Parks Foundation creating exciting new events in celebration of their 25th Anniversary. I helped to produce PICKLEBALL FOR ALL on the streets of downtown, seven free pop-up concerts in seven different Seattle parks, 1000+ hours of Amazon employee volunteer contributions during their Global Month of Volunteering, and the inaugural EARTH DAY AT TOWN HALL event with visionaries of climate science. In bringing their 25th Anniversary dream to life, my deliverables included developing Call for Artists to booking, logistics of a large street closure event, volunteer management, scripting, technical coordination and production with AV companies and venues, artist liaison, city permitting, food trucks and teaming up with SPF’s partner organizations.
I look forward to collaborating with them once again. The passionate staff at Seattle Parks Foundation are beyond compare and it was a joy to make some noise about all the incredible work they are doing in our parks and public spaces. They deserve your support. Seattleparksfoundation.org

It’s been awhile since I posted, happily reported to be because I’ve been working very hard on multiple jobs.  
I’m now back in business actively doing consulting work for my former employer, NW Children’s Foundation, as we prepare for their signature and always fabulous Gala + Auction: ReImagine set for May 14, 2022 at Fremont Studios. Hope you can join the fun. 
My calendar is also busy interviewing with some very exciting new work prospects here in Seattle ~ most focused on learning in all forms: my happy place!

9/11/2015:  Another great day on the course for kids today at Trilogy’s Redmond Ridge.  Raised over $75,000 while enjoying fabulous golfing, weather, hot dogs from Dog Spot, and a yummy buffet from Tutta Bella and the course during our post golf awards presentation.  Thanks to all our amazing sponsors and golfers for their stunning generosity!

5/17/2015: My second NW Children’s Fund gala auction event is now successful history! Wowser, did we do some serious running during set-up today at the Fremont Studios. But with that final push, along with the year of planning & production that came before, all came together for a phenomenal event experience for our guests ~ and a grand financial result. We had a record-breaking Fund-A-Need and raised over $650,000! And that means that so many families and kids in need in our community will get the helping hand they need.

My undying gratitude to our stellar volunteers. You amaze me with your generosity of time and treasure, and sheer chutzpah and spirit! Thank you to the entire events team, and Congratulations! Now, get some rest!
